Weekly Photo Challenge: Unexpected

The best things in life are unexpected because there were no expectations.

Earth Harp
What a treat to have the pleasure of learning about this instrument.  Invented by William Close in 1999, the Earth Harp actually uses architecture and the landscape as part of the instrument.  The physical architecture becomes the instrument and the sound it produces is amazing. What a treat to have witnessed this event. Then, back in 2012, he appeared on America’s Got Talent. I am not sure who the gal is playing it in this photo and at the event we attended, but she was amazing as well. The sounds magically resonated around us .

Unexpected?  Yes! Definitely outside a car detail work place.

And the most unexpected of all …. someone with a sense of humor during the Holidays. I had to stop and photograph it.

Here’s more unexpected photos.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Infinite

Steven Wright, one of my favorite people, said …. “I’m so tired. I was up all night trying to round off infinity.” I love his simply stated humor, with a twist.  Today I am going to look at the world differently, with a twist of humor.  I wonder how things will evolve? We’ll see!!!
