Spending time in Nature allows us to connect with Mother Earth.
Many of us are drawn powerfully to being out in Nature, whether it be hiking, boating, standing beside your favorite tree alongside a babbling stream or just viewing a beautiful overlook on the side of a highway. However, most people don’t even do this. They are busy with their lives indoors, stuck in front of a computer, in a cubicle or in a classroom.
Being out in Nature connects us to the earth. It grounds us as we walk, we are surrounded by living plants, insects or animals in the wild. It brings us into Presence.
When we connect with Mother Earth we are powerfully drawn on many levels. Step outside today and take a deep breath of air and allow the freshness to fill your lungs. Listen to the surroundings, the birds singing and chirping, the leaves rustling in the trees or just listen to the stillness of the Universal Hum. Feel the wind as it touches your face and hair. Smell the fragrances of the outdoors, no matter what time of year. Be aware of your surroundings. They are all gifts from the Universe of which we are a part.
Be aware of your surroundings. They are all gifts from the Universe of which we are a part. Feel your soul as you are nourished by the Earth and attune to the rhythms.
