When I saw this bumper sticker the other day, at first I laughed. Then I read it again and thought about it. There is a day coming, and perhaps even has come, when non-judgment will prevail.
What does that mean?
Jesus said, “Judge not, lest you be judged,” right? Jesus was a non-judgmental guy. He actually warned us against condemning individuals, not to judge them.
Someday we will stop judging one another and accept each of us for who we are, stop the criticizing and hating others for their opinions and actions.
And that someday can be today if we chose.

Today’s question: Are you living in an awakened consciousness or an ego consciousness?
So many things happen in our lives where we tend to feel hurt or taken advantage of. This is normal according to our culture and upbringing. Someone says or does something to us that hurts deeply and immediately we feel anger and rage within us. That is the ego consciousness.
But, what if we, instead, we tapped into our awakened consciousness? In this state we no longer feel the negative emotions. This gives us freedom from suffering and detaches us from the negative ego. This is empowering. This is freedom. This is no longer being the victim but being the victor. The Universe gives us these situations in order for us to grow. If life were always fun and games, no one would grow.
When we tap into our inner feelings, really feel what is going on, we can identify with our ego suffering. The world is suffering from ego poisoning. When we claim our “Is-ness”, which is the quality of being, life changes. From “Is-ness” we find universal love and forgiveness and freedom.
So next time you feel anger or rage from one of life’s challenges, tap into that feeling, deeply feel it. Question it. Don’t take it personally. When you are on the journey of crystal clarity, you feel and live the whole inner process of re-claiming who you are and resolving the situation or problem becomes an easy process.
So which are you?
Are you living in awakened consciousness or ego consciousness?
Are you the victim or the victor?

“I may not be able to change
the circumstances of my life
but I can change the conversation.”
It’s not how you react, but how you interrupt it.
Today . . .
I shape my perception of things.
I choose how to respond.
We all know the saying ….”What we give out, we get back.” We can either give or get out of fear or love.
It’s your choice.
In this moment, your feelings, thoughts and actions are what you are creating for your tomorrows. If you waste time on negative thinking, judging people, busying yourself with trivial matters, letting your emotions run your life or limiting yourself in any way, you are planning what is going to happen in your life tomorrow and the next day and the next.
Each and every thought you think is creating your future. When you think a negative thought it limits you and just adds to the pile of other negative thoughts that go through your head on a daily basis. This only makes us feel worse about ourselves and limits our future positive thoughts.
Isn’t it wonderful to know that you have control over this? You can change your life just by adjusting what you think. When you spend time thinking of negative things you don’t want, you are doing yourself a dis-service. That only make you more upset and unhappy. It takes you out of the “flow”. Negative thoughts only create more of what you don’t want.
“The only thing that ever limits us is our thinking.”
~ Louise Hay ~
These thoughts are now in the past. And since the past has no power over us, every thought that we choose to think today could bring endless opportunities for our future. Just think of how wonderful it would be to think positive thoughts every day.
We can create a happy and fulfilling life just by changing our thoughts about ourselves, our bodies, our friends, our associates, family members and the world. Watch every day turn into a joyous and successful experience. And we can do all of this just by changing our thoughts.
It’s so simple.
Start by using positive affirmations. Whenever a negative thought comes into your mind, stop and tell it “Thanks for stopping by . . . ” Then change that thought into a positive one. Train your thoughts to think things that make you feel joyful and positive instead of feeling negative. Try it and see how you feel today.
“The past is over and done and has no power over me. I can begin to be free in this moment. Today’s thoughts create my future. I am in charge. I now take my own power back. I am safe and I am free.”
~ Louise Hay ~
I choose to think joyous and happy thoughts today.
Today, I behold all the abundance that surrounds me.
I love my life and my life loves me.
I embrace my potential to be, do and have whatever I can dream.
Everything I desire is within me.

If you love purple . . .
- Purple people are sensitive and supportive, always thinking of others rather than themselves. However, we must be careful not to get taken advantage of.
- We love peace and quiet. That means that we give the impression that we are shy but it truly is not the case.
- Creative beings? Yes! Especially when it comes to our surroundings and appearance, and did I mention that we love all things eclectic and unconventional?
- Purple beings have a great imagination and we tend to see the world through rose, I mean, purple tinted glasses. However, we are continually looking for the meaning of life through spirituality.
- We are generous with our gifts and rarely ask for anything in return.
- Many of us are very secretive and private.
- “Purpular” People have difficulty dealing with crowds and choose individuality over trying to copy others.
- We have a passion for wanting to make this world a better place, many times holding positions where we can help that dream come true.
- Our spirits are usually high and we love to travel and explore different cultures, not to mention meeting new friends. We pride ourselves in being good judges of character.
- At times, we take on too many projects and it can cause us stress. So we resort to mediation to bring ourselves back to balance.

It is your choice.
There are no mistakes …. there are only lessons. Life repeats those lessons for us until we learn them and sometimes it takes on various forms. Sometimes it takes a lot of time for it to sink into our being and we finally learn from those lessons.
Those we associate with are only mirrors of ourselves. There is something that person has that has attracted you to them, be it something you love about yourself, or something you hate about yourself. Ultimately, the choice is up to you what you do with them. You have everything you need to make that decision. All the answers lie within you, just look, listen and trust your own best judgement.
Make the happy choice because you are in the driver’s seat.
Once you make your mind up to be happy, everything will change. Let go of all the emotional baggage. Give yourself permission to be happy.
While you aren’t always happy all the time, and that’s OK, accept the times when you aren’t. Focus on how your body feels when you are aren’t happy. Perhaps letting go of limiting beliefs and stress, along with emotional baggage might help you get more present and be aware of those feelings. It’s your decision, your choice.
If you choose to look on the bright side of life, your life will brighten. What you focus on will manifest and the outcome will be far more positive. And don’t forget to smile. Release the true optimist within you! That alone will draw those positive and inspiring people into your life that you want to associate with.
Someone special on my FaceBook page shared this photo and I had to pass it on.
We all have fears. So how do you deal with your fears? How do you deal with that thing in your gut or pain in your neck?
Have you discovered what your fears really are? Are you telling yourself stories in your head that intensify your fears? Once you discover what you actually fear, you will be able to move past them. You will be on the road to have control over those fears and thoughts.
Sometimes fear is a good thing, like when we are in flight or fright. It also comes to us when we are doing something outside of our comfort zone or being put at risk. That can be good in the sense that it causes us to shift.
Write Fear a Letter
Let fear know that you are not afraid of it, that you actually welcome it in order to make yourself better.
I recently had the opportunity to sit in on a class about self confidence. We were asked to write fear a letter. Here’s what I wrote:
(Written with your RIGHT hand):
I have to tell you something. I want you to take a back seat in my life. Actually, I’d like to divorce you but sometimes I need your guidance but only in a positive way. I know I invited you and sometimes I feed you. I have a fond affection to you, and I embrace you, but I don’t want you to control my life, my thoughts or my attitude or wake up with me or go to sleep with me. When I have turned to you, I realize that I have gotten exceptional results in my life that I wouldn’t have otherwise had, but I cannot let you control me. I must embrace you as a good friend where all the boundaries are in place.
Here’s what Fear wrote back:
(Written with your LEFT hand):
Thank you for bringing that to my attention. Let’s work on that together and start a new life together and give it another chance.
What are your fears? Write your letter today.
