No Judgement. No Resistance.

No Judgment. No Resistance.

Why is it that we cling to our negative experiences? Sometimes for days, weeks, months, years, or even for our entire lives. These feelings and emotions are toxic and stand in our way of allowing our lives to expand and flow. Instead we feed on our pain-body, as Eckhart Tolle calls it.

We must develop a receptiveness to all experiences … no judgement, no resistance. Release attachment to your fears, your judgments, and become fully present. This is a powerful way to awaken to all the wonderful possibilities that are waiting for you.

May we all be free of pain and suffering.  ~Buddhist Prayer ~

      • I appreciate Buddhist prayers also, but they’re not automatic fix-its, anymore than anything else. For instance, I would prefer that the above Buddhist prayer state “May I feel the pain and suffering that comes and then LET GO of the outcome.” I love LIFE, and to be alive means there WILL, at times, be pain and suffering. I prefer the Beatles’: “Let it Be” and the Lord’s Prayer: “Your will be done”. Or, to quote Anne Lamott’s three prayers: “HELP. WOW. THANKS.”
