Failures or Blessings?

“Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.”

~ Albert Einstein, or Ben Franklin, or Mark Twain ~
Somehow we can’t decide who really said this.  AA even takes credit for it!

Many of us try to do the same thing over and over and continually get the same results, like relationships. Do you know people who continually look for the same qualities in a person with many times characteristics that are the same as the last person? That relationship didn’t work out, yet they jump right back into the frying pan again with another person who displays many of the same characteristics of the last relationship.

So next time we try something different. But is it really “different”?  Do try this again in a slightly different way hoping for a different outcome in an attempt to avoid failure again. But is it really failure?  Or is it a lesson that life is teaching us?

Really, when you analyze the saying, it is contradictory. If you do the same thing over and over you do get the same results, as in a chemistry experiment. If you expect different results, you are probably not doing the exact thing or your expectations are based on another result. You try something different hoping for a different outcome. When you do the same thing over and over you intend to get the same results.

Instead, this time, we ask for an entirely different outcome, or leave it up to the Universe to guide us on the path that we should be traveling. Whether it is looking for a mate or another career path, decide what is it that you really want? Leave the past behind. It’s all happened. You can’t do anything about it. It’s history. What’s next?

Turn your failures into blessings!

All those previous “unsuccessful” moments were just leading up to this moment.

It all begins with: Who am I? What is my purpose?

Today is a day of new beginnings. Today is a day of taking the first steps toward a new journey. Take time today to celebrate your choice to live in your own truths, mindfully doing what you were meant to do and with your entire body, mind and spirit. Create a space to manifest your dreams, your new life and your heart’s desire.

Welcome to your journey!

“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.”

I’m pretty sure
~Mark Twain ~
said that!
